march 2nd, 2013. i wake up at 9:14 a.m. on a cold, wet saturday morning on the peak in hong kong. reason? emergency poop — the kind that not only wakes you up, but keeps you from sleeping too, thank you anniversary mexican feast last night.

incapable of falling back asleep, i decide to take a 2-hour “vinyasa flow 3” class — the first time i’ve taken any class at the studio with the number 3 attached to it. hopefully i’ll survive.

TDJ #1: when in(somnia) doubt, yoga.

grab my yoga pants from the dryer and escape the household, zombie-like. brr. it sure is chilly outside.

TDJ #2: it’s a good day for hot pot dinner. win.

manage to see two ladies and a golden getting out of a cab at the bottom of coombe road. run like a girl with my arms flailing to get the driver’s attention. enter beatrice.
